Security is a growing area of concern for all CherryRoad’s customers. A customer’s IT Department can do many things to aid in security protection, however, employees today are frequently exposed to sophisticated phishing and ransomware attacks. Making our customer’s system only as safe as their weakest employee. Creating security training tools, managing a security program, and testing employee’s level of security knowledge can be very time consuming and costly. At CherryRoad we help our customers with their employee security training needs. Along with our partners, KnowBe4 and Alpine Cyber Solutions, CherryRoad offers a complete managed security training program.

Basic Program
- Security Program Management – At CherryRoad, we partner with Alpine Cyber Solutions to provide the setup, maintenance and management for all program activities.
- Baseline Testing – A free simulated phishing attack aimed at identifying potential issues requiring training.
- Awareness Training for Employees – Awareness training is tailored to the security needs of the customers. This may be a known need, or one discovered through testing. Employees can receive training two ways:
- Phishing Campaigns – automated simulated phishing attacks are deployed to gauge the retention of users and provide learning reinforcement where needed.
- Reporting – Reports containing stats and graphs for training and phishing results are provided.
- Bi-Weekly security ‘Tips and Tricks’ email.
- Weekly – Industry newsletter with information regarding the latest phishing attacks.
a) In-person sessions focusing on IT Security Best Practices and applicable regulatory training, such as, HIPAA Compliance and Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
b) Using our library of 850+ security awareness training content deployed as an automated training campaign. Scheduled reminder emails are also included.

- Training content is developed by KnowBe4 and their Chief Hacking Officer, Kevin Mitnick, known as “the world most famous Hacker”. He now incorporates his 30+ years first-hand hacking experience into his online security training courses.
- CherryRoad uses the same Security Program to train its own employees.
